Welcome to Kirsty McCubbin

May 27, 2009 Steve

Kirsty McCubbinAnd last, but by no means least, it’s time to introduce the last of the doctors and grace the site with a touch of femininity!  Welcome to Kirsty McCubbin, the jet setting Scot that has recently settled down in Australia to run her affiliate empire.

Kirsty started out part time in 2003 whilst working for an SEO consultancy.  As a dab hand at copy writing and an interest in what affiliate marketing was all about, Kirsty used her skills to set up some landing pages and quickly realised that she could earn far more than her job was paying.  Equalling her salary in just 5 short months, Kirsty quit the day job and went off on the first of her many travel jaunts around the globe.

The recently married ‘Bridezilla’ operates in a number of sectors from lingerie and fashion to cosmetics and perfumes, driving the majority of her traffic through PPC.  Nowadays, however, Kirsty is concentrating more on building organic traffic through carefully crafted copy and SEO.  Her latest project are www.lingeriebrands.co.uk and www.blokesundies.co.uk.

Aside from the day-to-day business, Kirsty also runs the hugely popular www.affiliatestuff.co.uk blog and is on the shortlist for this years Affiliate Marketing Blog of 2009 at the A4U awards.  Of particular note is the superb ‘Ask Kirsty’ section of the site where she gives in depth advice to help out new and existing affiliates with any problems they may be experiencing.

Kirsty is a welcomed addition to a top line of doctors, and together with the rest of the team, we’re looking forward to some interesting posts.

Welcome on board Kirsty.

  1. thank heavens you’ve finally chosen one of the fairer sex – and a brilliant choice – thought I might have to put myself forward at one point – looking forward to seeing this up and running

  2. Thanks Elaine.

Admittedly, I didn’t know many female affiliate marketeers at the time, but Kirsty is definitely a great choice.
